MEGAN RAVENHALL
Megan Ravenhall is a graduate of the University of St. Andrews. On completion of her undergraduate degree in English literature in 2018, she fell in love with the town and its people. She completed her postgraduate degree, an M.Litt. in Creative Writing, in September 2020 and found herself writing her way through the pandemic. Megan’s world makes most sense to her when she writes it down and so, write she did and write she does.

Hannah Bell
Hannah’s early career started off in education and many years later she has come full circle. Throughout her second career as a police officer, she developed a curiosity for the brain and a love of learning. She achieved a BA (Hons) in Education at Leeds University and a Certificate in Education from Sunderland University. Since then she has continued to study and she holds advanced qualifications in Neurolinguistic Programming; Hypnotherapy; and Applied Neuroscience as well as being a Practitioner in Brain and Behaviour Change. Di Brokenshire
With a master’s degree in education and 30 years experience as a teacher and youth worker, Diane used her experiences from home and the workplace to create a user friendly workbook for kids that invites them to explore relevant and important topics like values, stress, respect, healthy relationships, cyber bullying, communication, forgiveness, grief, finding help fast, staying safe and sensitive family issues like substance abuse and mental illness.

Dr. Anna Lipscomb
Anna is an educational and child psychologist currently practicing in the London area. Her previous roles have included those in teaching and special educational needs support. Having retrained as a practitioner psychologist and completing a professional doctorate Anna has been involved in many research projects from project design through to publication. Research and practice specialisms include listening to children, empowerment and child-centred methodologies.

Eve Wilson
Eve has now written, edited and/or published over 100 resources for schools, colleges, nurseries and other professional organisations.
Eve has spent over 40 years in education, including 10 as a headteacher; she is also a qualified OfSTED inspector. Since leaving full-time teaching, Eve has worked as an Educational Consultant, developing and editing materials and organising training. She was also an Educational Consultant for the National Association for Gifted Children. |
Ellie Collar
Ellie has a B.Ed (Hons) in Lower Primary Education (3-7 years) and a M.Ed in Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, both from Birmingham University School of Education. Her first seven years of teaching experience were spent within special schools, working with children with a range of severe to profound learning difficulties working within the earliest stages of development, including specialist teaching approaches for children with multi sensory impairment and setting up and running a class for children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and Severe Learning Difficulties. She spent the next nine years working as a county advisory teacher in Northamptonshire for early years SEN with families and a wide range of schools and early years settings, including providing training, consultation and advice, assessment and joint work with the community health teams, and the Northampton Child Development Centre. As an Independent Consultant, she is continuing to enthusiastically develop her knowledge and training in how difficulties in the early stages of development can affect learning and achievement long term, and what strategies best enable children to regain this vital ground.

Prof. Irvine Gersch
Irvine is professor of educational and child psychology at the University of East London. He has spent all his working life working with children and young people, as a primary and secondary teacher, university lecturer, educational psychologist, senior and Principal Educational Psychologist, and trainer of educational psychologists, coaches, counsellors and other students. His Doctorate was in the area of school leadership and pupil behaviour. He has served as a member of the DfES working group on the future role and training of educational psychologists. He has co-edited books, and published chapters in books and articles in the fields of listening to children and pupil involvement, behaviour management, school leadership, educational psychology training, conciliation and mediation in Special Needs and teacher stress. In 2002, he received the British Psychological Society’s annual award for Distinguished Contributions to Professional Psychology. He is a fellow of the British Psychological Society, a fellow of the Higher Education Academy. His research interests include listening to children, spiritual listening, SEN mediation, parenting and the future of the profession of educational psychology. His fundamental aim is to help adults empower children and young people, by listening deeply and carefully to their thoughts and ideas, and barriers, and adapting life to enhance each child’s development and happiness. Dr Lucy Betts
Dr Lucy Betts CPsychol Csci AFBPsS FHEA is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Nottingham Trent University. Lucy's main research interests lie within the area of social developmental psychology. In particular, Lucy's work focuses on experiences of cyber bullying, face-to-face bullying, and harassment. One current strand of research examines young people’s experiences of cyber bullying, the impacts of cyber bullying for psychosocial adjustment, and adolescents' perceptions of the relative risk of experiencing cyber bullying. A second strand of ongoing research explores young people’s experiences of street harassment.

Rosemary Martin
Rosemary is an experienced PSHE practitioner who has worked across several urban primary and secondary schools as a BIP learning mentor specialising in behaviour management.
She is also involved in delivering parenting courses. She has written and developed a number of books, programmes and games for EYFS through to adulthood. |
Bob Bellhouse
Bob is an experienced presenter, teacher and writer, who is co-author of the popular Heart Masters series of books, and has been published extensively internationally. More recently, he has worked with the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority as a writer of the progression points for interpersonal relationships and personal learning.

Shay & Margaret McConnon
Shay and Margaret McConnon spent 15 years in Special education teaching young people who had emotional and behavioural difficulties. They developed programmes to enhance the self-worth of these students and to improve their social skills. These programmes now form the Your Choice series. These books are best sellers in their field and continue to form the basis for many Personal and Social Education Programmes across the world.
Shay is a founder member of the Professional Speakers Association and he speaks regularly at conferences on people issues. His keynotes are content-rich, providing delegates with practical techniques for creating winning relationships in the workplace. He uses magic to illustrate these in a fun and memorable way. Margaret specialises in one to one work and couple counselling. She is co-author of a range of workshop materials and trains on people issues within education and the service sectors. |
