My Success Journal
Keeping a journal is a well-researched aid to mental health and a key skill in shaping the future.
The task of writing itself has a healing impact and gives fresh perspectives on challenges and achievements.
My Success Journal encourages young people to record and analyse their day-to-day activities, successes and efforts, thereby enabling them to evaluate their progress and plan towards long term goals which gives empowerment.
The journal has fifty double-page spreads, each with one page for recording, supported by one page with a motivational quote by a famous sportsperson, plus a short bio of them.
It comes on a CD rom so that teachers can print off copies themselves, and has full teachers’ notes with ideas for use.
The journal has six sections to be completed daily with a word or short sentence:
· Something I learned today
· Something I achieved towards my long-term goals
· Highlight of my day
· Something I need to work om
· I’m grateful for
