The little country named Rhodesia was destined to have a finite life which lasted roughly from 1890 until 1980. It flared up and burned brightly during those ninety years. Then, at the lowering of one flag and the raising of another, its flame was extinguished and its short history came to an end.
A history so short that its in danger of being forgotten all together. Chapters close almost daily as old Rhodesians pass on and our numbers dwindle away. This tale covers the adventures of seven generations of my family over two and a half centuries from 1773 until 2024 and attempts to capture some of my family’s farming and Rhodesia’s history....before it’s too late!
